Terms & Conditions

Thank you for considering a donation as part of High Flyers
  1. These Terms and Conditions are related to High Flyers, being run by Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, a registered charity in England and Wales (No. 1143118), hereafter referred to as ‘MAAC’.
  2. MAAC reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, or to suspend, cancel or amend High Flyers, at any time by placing a notice on our website. These Terms and Conditions also include the FAQs on the campaign website.
  3. High Flyers enables MAAC supporters who donate a minimum of £150, to have their gift recognised via the inclusion of their name or the name of a loved one on the underside of the new H145 helicopter (call sign G-HMAA) within one of the four chevrons. Please note, supporters cannot choose which chevron their chosen name appears on.
  4. The donation of £150 via the campaign name submission methods (detailed below) constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  5. The campaign will remain open until all name spaces are allocated or until MAAC closes the campaign.
  6. MAAC will close the campaign and display closure via the campaign website as soon as feasibly possible – should any further names be submitted after all the spaces are allocated, MAAC will contact the supporter, who will have the option to request a refund or reassign the gift as a general donation.
  7. High Flyers is a standalone fundraising campaign, beginning on 14th February 2025. Any donations received before this date are not eligible towards this campaign. Any donations made after this date, but not made expressly for this campaign, are not eligible towards this campaign.
  8. Following closure of the campaign, names will be printed on the underside of G-HMAA as soon as reasonably possible. This is expected to be during early 2026.
  9. The names will remain on the underside of the G-HMAA helicopter for a minimum of four years.
  10. Any samples or prints are for the sole purpose of giving an idea of what the design may look like, but do not have any contractual force. MAAC reserves the right to amend the design as required.
  11. All donations submitted via High Flyers will go into MAAC’s general funds and will be spent on where there is most need, as identified by the Board of Trustees and Senior Leadership Team.
  12. As part of promotional opportunities, MAAC may take photographs and videos of the aircraft to use, which may be used in media releases, publications, social media, our website and third-party media. Whilst we will not focus on any one name, the supporter understands and accepts that the name(s) they submit may be identifiable from the design.
  13. All timings included in the campaign FAQs and Terms and Conditions are approximate, and MAAC is not liable for any delays.
  14. Further details on how MAAC may use your information can be found in our Privacy Policy on midlandsairambulance.com
Name Submission
  1. To receive the donation recognition constituting a name included within the chevrons on the underside of the G-HMAA helicopter, supporters must be aged 18 or over and make a minimum donation of £150.
  2. There is limited space available for this campaign and names will be registered on a first come first served basis.
  3. For each £150 donation, supporters will have their chosen name placed inside one of the chevrons on the underside of the aircraft and will also receive a certificate and commemorative coin in a presentation card.
  4. Items will be sent to the billing address provided during the donation process. Certificates and commemorative coins will be distributed from April 2025 onwards. From April 2025 onwards, we will aim to post certificate and commemorative coin orders to supporters within two weeks of names being submitted.
  5. A minimum donation of £150 is required for one name to be considered for inclusion.
  6. Supporters may submit multiple names, each with a separate donation of £150. The supporter will receive one certificate and one commemorative coin for each £150 donation. These will be sent to the provided billing address.
  7. Names can be submitted in the following ways:
    Via the High Flyers website
Over the phone through our Supporter Care Team on 0800 8 40 20 40 available Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm
By cheque, made payable to Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Please include ‘High Flyers’ and the name you wish to submit clearly written on the back of the cheque. Send the cheque to: Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, Airbase Avenue, Neachley, Shifnal, Shropshire TF11 8UR
  8. If a cheque or money is received by MAAC and we are unable to distinguish whether the intention of the sender is to participate in High Flyers or to make a donation to MAAC, the cheque or money will be treated as a donation to MAAC and will go into MAAC’s general funds.
  9. Please note, submitting a name does not grant any ownership rights to the helicopter, nor any entitlement to visit or access the aircraft. Opportunities to visit the helicopter are not guaranteed, and submitting a name(s) as part of High Flyers does not mean you automatically secure tickets to any future events where the helicopter may be displayed/present.

Name Eligibility
  1. Names will be displayed on the helicopter on the underside of the aircraft within the four chevrons. The names will be displayed alphabetically by first letter.
  2. Names will be printed in a uniform font and size to ensure consistency across all submissions.
  3. Submitted names must not exceed 30 characters, including spaces. This includes both the name itself and any titles (e.g., Captain, Dr., Lady) or post-nominal letters.
  4. Names can include formal titles (e.g., Dr., Mr., Captain) or informal versions of names (e.g., nicknames). However, names must not contain emojis, special characters, or any discriminatory or offensive language.
  5. Each name entry must only contain one person’s name, for example “John Smith” or “Joan Smith”.
  6. Community organisations and voluntary groups can be submitted for inclusion, providing their name doesn’t exceed 30 characters, including spaces.
  7. Business names will not be accepted for submission.
  8. MAAC reserves the right to request an alternative name if the submitted name is deemed unsuitable for display. This decision will be made at the discretion of MAAC.
  9. Supporters are responsible for checking the name before submitting it to ensure that it is spelt correctly, contains the correct details, and is submitted as they wish the name to appear on the helicopter. Once submitted, the name will be printed exactly as entered. If you notice any errors, contact us at info@midlandsairambulance.com as soon as possible. While we will do our best to accommodate changes, we cannot guarantee that corrections can be made after submission.
